Clyde Clean-Up Days: May 8th and 15th

Due to the new State of Wisconsin regulations and new disposal policies from our refuse hauler, Town & Country Sanitation, Inc., the dump can no longer accept certain electronic items for disposal.

Examples of items Town & Country Sanitation will no longer accept at the dump are...: computers, printers, fax machines, video equipment, audio equipment, modems, circuit boards, microchips, copy machines, televisions, disk drives, VCRs, communication equipment, keyboards, monitors.

After a year of painstaking restoration, the Mineral Point Opera House is having it's Grand Re-opening on April 30th!

Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua will be presenting "Moon Songs and Moon Shadows", the songs of Paul Simon and Cat Stevens. Doors open at 6:30 for the 7:30 show.

Annual Chili Chicken Noodle Dinner

Join us for the Annual Clyde Community Chili and Chicken Noodle Soup Dinner

Town/ County Farmland Preservation Info

A recently passed state law requires all counties and towns to undego a major review of all lands within the town to determine new eligibility requirements for Farmland Preservation tax credits. The entire bill is availble at the state website under the name Working Lands Initiative. A schedule from the County of a proposed timeline for implementation is availble from the Iowa County Planning and Zoning Office website. The Clyde LRPC will also be holding meetings and these meeting notices will be posted here separately.

Clyde LRPC April 2010 Meeting

There will be a meeting of the Clyde LRPC on Tuesday April 13, at 6 pm at the Clyde Community Center. There are 2 agenda items.
- Discussion and possible approval of a conditional use application by Les and Stacy Orosz, 7488 Leaches Crossing Rd, to allow horse boarding, equine events and bed and breakfast rentals.
- discussion of farmland preservation zoning.
